Google Blogs, which purports its so called “Dedication to Free Speech” only follows that policy when the speech is liberal enough apparently, demonstrated when they shut down the “New York Conservative” blog hosted on their “Google Blogs” site.

Now I have no problem with a private company shutting sites down it does not agree with, but don’t post outright lies about being neurtral, and being for free speech – because it is eveident that is not the case.

After 11 years, KSM and his fellow terrorists have at last been brought to trial. The very first proceeding in the trial, the arraignments of the defendants, commenced on Saturday at 9:23 am. What should have been a simple proceeding lasted 13 hours, marred by the endless antics of the terrorists and their attorneys, including a female defense attorney who appeared in a burka and demanded that other women in the court dress likewise in order not to offend the religious sensibilities of the murders.

The military prosecutor predicted that this circus would persist for years, allowing the terrorists a platform to make a mockery of the judicial process we offer them and to heap additional suffering upon the families of the victims of terrorist attacks.

To what end? In June 2008, KSM was brought before a tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. He announced at that time that he wished to enter a guilty plea so he could be “martyred.” He expressed the same desire again in December 2008. In a criminal proceeding, the accused always has the option of entering a plea of “not guilty” and demanding a trial or entering a guilty plea and accepting his sentence. So, as is apparent, when one pleads guilty and admits his crime, there is no need for a trial. Instead of years of pointless proceedings to try issues not in dispute, the Court should simply say:

“The Court hereby deems your previously entered plea of guilty as accepted and shall now impose sentence. The sentence of the Court is that you be taken hence to the place of execution and that you there be hanged by the neck until dead. May God have mercy on your soul. Next case.”

It is ironic that this debacle of a trial begins on the heels of President Obama’s obscene self-congratulatory celebration of the anniversary of the death of Osama Bin Laden. While the president tries to pass himself off as the greatest commander since Alexander, the KSM trial reminds us that the president is a man who built his political career on decrying Gitmo and accusing his own country of “torturing” KSM and his fellow killers. Obama’s first act as president was to announce the closure of Gitmo.

It was the president who delayed the KSM trial by an additional four years. It was his Justice Department that sought to bring this outrageous circus-trial to federal district court in Manhattan and launched a witch-hunt against CIA operatives and government lawyers for their conduct of, and participation in, the enhanced interrogation program, even after these public servants had previously been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Of course, we now know that only three men were ever waterboarded, and then only briefly and under carefully controlled circumstances. We know that the intelligence gathered from these men, and other terrorists held at Gitmo, contributed mightily to the successful search for Bin Laden, ultimately enabling Obama to give his “gusty” order and parade Bin Laden’s head on a political pike.

Regardless of Obama’s image propaganda, the fact remains that, more than a decade after 9/11, the families of the terrorists’ victims, and nation at large, must endure a lengthy and absurd exercise to confer “due process” on men who scorn the very notion; men who have no interest in the “justice” we extend to them and who proudly trumpet their guilt before the Court that is charged with trying that very issue.

It need not be so. In mid-June 1942, two parties of Nazi spies came ashore on Long Island and in Florida. By June 27th, all eight men who had infiltrated the country had been arrested. They were tried before a military commissioned appointed by President Roosevelt between July 8th and August 4, 1942. All were condemned to death. The president commuted the sentences of two men; the other six were executed on August 8, 1942, four days after their convictions.

President Obama fancies himself another Roosevelt. As such he ought to emulate his predecessor’s penchant for dispatching swift justice to war criminals. Prolonging a phony justice process only compounds the already unspeakable injustice KSM perpetrated. He has confessed his guilt. We should execute him without further delay.

Okay, as promised, here are some links to download your own plans to build stills, filters, fermentation tanks, car-boys, a simple mini-fermenter, and so much more!

Now, right out of the gate the simplest and easiest way to distill a spirit that you have created via fermentation (See our fermentation sections coming soon!) is to use a method called “Freeze Distillation” (or freeze concentration).

Freeze Distillation is simply putting your filtered fermentation product into your freezer in a food quality  plastic pail, allowing mostly water content to freeze into a floating “slush”, and then scooping this slush out of the mixture.  the remaining liquid will now be much much stronger.  This is typically done to fruit wines, cider, and sometimes to beer.  It is illegal in some countries because it can concentrate some bad items such as the fusel  oils and fermentation by-products – but hey, if you would have drunk the original cider (And you properly fermented it) then the freeze distillate should also be good. Use your own judgement here.

The Amazing Plastic Still – Try this simple to build plastic bucket still!

Now, I looked these plans over and they look real good, however I believe you can greatly improve these plans in one of several ways.

• Use a metal bucket (either made of copper if you can find one, or stainless steel). This will enhance the capability of the sides of the bucket as an effective condenser. Plastic is not the best condenser as getting it cold is not easy.
• Put the plastic (or better metal, see above) pail in a large bath of ice water.
• Run a coil of copper tubing on the inside of the larger plastic pail and run cold water through it.
• Grab an electronic cooler known a a “Peltier” cooler. This is a solid state cooling device where one side gets hot (you put a heat sink on that side, with a fan) and the other side gets cold (that side goes to the wall of your bucket). You can get one here at American Science and Surplus.

-Remember, copper metal helps take out some of the sulfides that will reside in your final product.

The "Famous" Popcorn Sutton

Home brew alcohol… Like anything that gives pleasure when used properly, can also give great pain when used improperly.

But that is the crux of the power of freedom. Choice. And whenever there is something that involves choice or freedom, you can bet there is some elitist, bleeding heart, controlling type persons who want to take that freedom and choice away from you. And in America, you can also be sure that there is some overbearing, bumbling, and unconstitutional Bureau that is positioned to make your life miserable and take away your freedoms (or force you into some “duly” licensed position where you have to pay exorbitant taxes to pursue this activity).

Here is an excerpt from the Star Tribune about some of the idiotic laws that are finally being challanged around the country with regard to making your own adult beverages:

     MADISON, Wis. – About the only thing Kevin Flynn enjoys more than drinking his home-brewed beer is sharing it with fellow beer club members at festivals and tasting competitions. So Flynn and his buddies were shocked to discover that Wisconsin law prohibits sharing homemade suds anywhere outside the brewer’s home.

The law could “pretty much be the end of competitions in Wisconsin,” he lamented. “At least legal ones.”

An explosion of interest in home brewing is forcing lawmakers across the country to review long-forgotten alcohol laws, some of which date back to Prohibition. Although the old rules have rarely been enforced, beer enthusiasts fear they could criminalize the rapidly growing hobby and kill scores of annual tasting events that bring tourists to small towns and cities.

In Wisconsin, Flynn and other home brewers may soon be off the hook. The state Legislature last week passed a bill to allow them to transport homemade beer and wine and to share it with other adults. Brewers will still not be permitted to sell anything they make, and they will remain exempt from permit requirements and taxes.

The proposal now heads to Gov. Scott Walker, who plans to sign it into law.

At least 17 states have ambiguous laws on whether home brewers can transport beer or wine outside the home, according to the American Homebrewers Association in Boulder, Colo.

The patchwork of rules can be frustrating for hobbyists who would prefer to spend their time exchanging recipes for pale ale or rhapsodizing about different varieties of hops, barley and yeast.

With regard to the bureaucracy that controls all of this, that would be the BATF.  Their name stands for Bunch of A**holes Taking Freedom. Now, if Alcohol and Tobacco were illegal substances, we would have the local, state, and federal police to take care of those who produce these items.  If it were a matter of food quality, the FDA would provide a set of requirements, but this is a special Bureau that is dedicated to three, very unrelated items, which makes no sense.  (They recently added explosives, which I guess is somewhat related to “firearms” but seriously, what the hell?).  If you don’t recall, these are the same wily bunch that like to “walk” firearms over to the Mexican drug cartels and get our border agents killed.  Yeah, that bunch of a**holes.  Here is a link to some of their misdeeds: BATF Gunwalking Scandel

Well, one of the BATF’s good friends was Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton, pictured above.  And by friends, I mean (sarcastically), that he was actually a sworn enemy… You see, (if you have not figured this out yet) “Popcorn” was a moonshiner…one of the best, and one of the last, so the BATF really loved him.  That is why they killed him. Popcorn did the actual suicide, feeling that the BATF would probably screw it up if they tried to do it… You see, Popcorn was diagnosed with terminal cancer just prior to his being caught with 800 gallons of ‘Shine, and, well, the judge was going to make an example of Popcorn and throw him in jail, but Popcorn said, “No ya ain’t”  An unfortunate and sad loss of one of America’s last moonshiners.  Why the hell they did not just leave him alone, well… because that is what Elitists do.

I want to make a bold face statement about this blog/web/product site. I have set it up for 3 specific reasons:

Then we also have a large group of tireless individuals such as police, firemen, and teachers who do work hard, but are given the scraps of what is left from the massive layers of government abusers above them (including so-called government unions, which are just another bunch of thieves).

So, we have real people, with real faces, that need real pies smashed into them. And then they need to be fired and forced to work in the real world.

You, yes YOU can make millions as a meteor collector! Quench your thirst for both science and travel by becoming a meteor hunter and finding and selling meteors!

Space rocks are worth as much as $1,000 per gram. That is more than Gold, or Platinum!

Lets begin by looking at what a meteor is, and what they might look like:

The physical composition of asteroids is varied and in most cases poorly understood. Ceres appears to be composed of a rocky` core covered by an icy mantle, where Vesta is thought to have a nickel-iron core, olivine mantle (the mineral olivine is a magnesium iron silicate).

Olivine is common on Earth, it is found in meteorites, the Moon and Mars. The formula is (MgFe)2 SiO4 usually mixed with basaltic crust.

Hygiea, appears to have a uniformly primitive composition of carbonaceous chondrite. Carbonaceous chondrites are also a class of chondrite meteors. They only represent a small proportion of (4.6 %) of meteorite falls.

Some contain a high percentage of water (3-22 %) as well as organic compounds. They are composed of mainly silicates, oxides and sulfides. Some also contain amino acids, phyllosilicates, magnetite and olivine crystals. Most do not survive on the Earth’s surface for long after they fall because these type of meteorites are almost immediately absorbed by the environment on Earth.

Many smaller asteroids are piles of rubble held together loosely by gravity.

One thing to note before you plan a meteorite hunt, make sure that if you find one, you’ll be allowed to keep it. Space rocks found in national parks belong to the federal government and cannot legally be kept, said David Kring, a meteorite scientist at the University of Arizona’s Lunar and Planetary Institute. Well, not so fast… National Parks are yours, technically, as you paid for them with your taxes. So make sure you bring a back pack and put the meteor in it when you hike on out of there. Lets be real, most of us would not know a meteor from a pile of dried cow dung if we tripped over it. So get educated about what they look like, and if it is on someones land just ask them if you can have it.

Bottom line, if you can prove that what you have is a meteor – you will have more buyers than you know what to do with! I just checked Ebay and saw that prices for pieces of meteor and whole meteor go for as much as $14,000.00! Wow!

There are people who have made millions hunting meteors professionally. Here is an excerpt from CNNMoney online:

Mike Farmer, 31, is a professional meteorite hunter, one of a handful in the U.S. In 2003, he says, he grossed a half-million dollars, netting $125,000 (he spends $120,000 on travel). If he’s not scouring the world’s whitest deserts, searching for objects that look out of place, he’s chasing a reported fall. He spent two weeks in India last October, at the site of a spectacular shower near the Bay of Bengal, but came away empty-handed when a cyclone flooded the zone under six feet of water. “It was horrible,” says Farmer. “People were dying. The meteorites were all lost.” He fared better last March in Chicago, scoring from one startled homeowner a two-pound rock, the printer it had pulverized, and the hole it had made in the roof.(“I had a carpenter cut it out of the roof for me.”) Farmer sold the set to a client for $50,000, having paid $12,000. More often, he sells via eBay or at shows.

Note the bolded part: That there are only a handful of meteor hunters in the US that do this professionally. Those that find and sell meteors are not hurting! You can be one of them, and there is not much competition!

My somewhat subjective results of the Google trending search experiment showed that a slight bump can be achieved by including the words as keywords and the related content, however that bump only lasts about 2 days and represents an approximate 20% increase in traffic. That traffic will not really result in any results unless you have well crafted content on your pages, which would most likely have drawn more traffic anyway.

The issue is, and always has been: “what is the quality of the content on a blog or page?” search terms for their own sake will only get blips of useless traffic to a site and will not probably result in actual readers or sustained consumption of your blog content. What this means to me is a rather conclusive understanding that these trends cannot really be used directly for traffic generation, but are a tool for seeing where to position your content and search for more long term trends.

Hope this is a useful finding for you as it was for me!

My Adonis is the “also eligible” for this Derby. He runs only if one of the 20 horses entered on Wednesday scratches by Friday morning. In that case, he gets post No. 20 as a 50-1 long shot. “Just knowing that we weren’t going to be post No. 1 or 2, I guess, is nice,” Breen said. “Being 20 is better than being down inside. Buy a Freedom Bulb (Or at least Read about them!)

The TSA needs to be shut down completely…as in disbanding this governmental agency, demolishing all of their buildings, and sending all of their scanning equipment to the scrap yard to be recycled into actual useful items.

The TSA as an agency is corrupt, inefficient, and downright stupid, however, there are several TSA agents who really stand out: One of the worst is Thedala Magee, an agent who violated both the rights and body of Amy Alkon. To top it off that TSA “agent” Thedala Magee attempted to sue Amy Alkon because she wrote about this experience in her blog and named the offending agent (Thedala Magee). Hey,  Thedala Magee, how do you like it when you’re exposed all over the place, Hmmmm? Not so fun when the glove is on the other hand, so to speak…Thedala Magee.

Ok, enough of that, we all know the TSA is an overbearing, overreaching, unconstitutional embodiment of Big Brother, and needs to be disbanded.  Here is a great way to get your “protest on”:

Aluminum paint!

Simply write your message for the TSA in aluminum paint on your bare chest.  You can get aluminum paint at your local art shop in small quantities.  Brush your message on your chest, allow to dry, and then put on a shirt!

When they go to “scan” you – the message shines through clear as day.

Something like that...

Now, of course if you do this, you may be detained for a full cavity search. At this point you could opt to consume an entire box of laxatives… At any rate, you probably wont be too popular…

Another less dangerous route is that you can sign the petition to stop the TSA and shut it down. The more names and powerful people we can get to shut them down, and the more we can embarrass, harass, and generally make these bums less effective, the better. These people are NOT making us more safe. If they were, they would be doing it Israel style: By profiling and by putting in measures to deal with terrorists at the airport! But instead, they hire the likes of people who work at the DMV, with the same bad attitudes to take away any shred of human decency we may still have left.

So please, Sign the Petition!

Ah well, you are not interested so much in the FCC as you are in keeping snoops out of your business, after all, this is supposed to be America, and the only way we are going to keep it that way, is to FORCE it to happen.  In this case by jamming their bugs, their GPS tracking systems, and their spy drones, and of course by acting like our forefathers against the tyrant King in everything we do.

The wave bubble works on the principle of self tuning by sampling the local radio frequencies, using a PLL to lock onto that frequency, and then transmits on that frequency (transmitting noise).  This device was originally created to put a “bubble” of a few feet or yards around the person carrying it, so that all cell phones withing that bubble stopped working.  It operates int he quad band phone frequencies of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.  You may want to purchase a Linear amplifier for these frequencies because they are hard to build and must keep within strict specifications as to lead lengths, shielding, etc… but it can be done.  Refer to AARL books for designs, or find a local Ham Radio operator.

For this frequency range, I found a Wilson 811910 900-2100MHz SignalBoost DualBand Amp on Ebay for $170.00.  That will do fine for boosting this jammer to useful frequencies.  Then you can use some of the Tin Can directional antennas for pointing your new jammer at various targets… such as the spy drone going over your house.

At any rate, I will fill in more details and info as I get it so you can build the next generation of Privacy Protection Devices!

The Freedom Bulb: The only Bulb you will ever need!

Starting immediately, Hard To Find Software will begin selling “Freedom Bulbs” here on our site, and from time to time, on Ebay and elsewhere.

Freedom bulbs are incandescent light bulbs, otherwise known as “Edison Bulbs” with a paper united states flag wrapped around the metal base. As long as you don’t remove the paper flag and screw it into a light socket, the bulb is perfectly….”legal”, ahem.

I can’t, of course, be responsible if you take the paper flag off the metal base as use it as a perfectly working bulb…

Why am I doing this?

Because the government has overreached it’s Constitutionally derived powers again (like it did when it told us how big our toilet flushes could be).  Because this insidious socialism is getting into every part of our lives, and because it is American to rebel against tyranny!

Also because the Edison bulb is superior in its light, simple in its construction, inexpensive, and certainly uses much less material than the new CFL or LED lights. Not only that, if you have used any of these highly expensive alternative bulbs for any amount of time, you will find that they are inferior in many ways to the Edison Bulb. Not only are the claims by the manufacturers about how long they last totally overblown, but they are more dangerous, and much more wasteful in many other ways. And lets not forget how horribly expensive they are in comparison to Edison Bulbs!

To see what a absolute waste of resources those “other” bulbs are, lets take a look at some of the guts inside. Here is post about the “Phillips LED” bulb (a steal at 59 bucks…yeah, a steal from you!):

At any rate, CFL’s are worse – while not as expensive as the LED bulbs, they have both electronic circuitry and mercury in each bulb. Mercury is poison, and while the amount in a single bulb is small, the accumulated amount over the millions of bulbs used by America alone, is enormous. Do you really think anyone other than the environmental wackos are going to follow strict mercury handling precautions of these bulbs? Nope, they are going to do what you and I do, throw them in the trash. And then the mercury will leach into our drinking supply. Now, I am not a environmental wacko – but I can see clearly how asinine this whole light-bulb Ban is, so that is why I cam going back to Edison Bulbs and the heck with the idiots in Washington. You should too.

In a related bit of news, the “so-called” fact checker Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post claims that Mitt Romney accused Barack Obama’s regulators of banning the Edison Bulb – I really don’t care why the politicians in Washington banned the bulb, they are all wrong about it, but the “facts” that Mr. Kessler told have to do with the light bulbs themselves. He cites the so-called inefficiencies of the Edison Bulb, and “how much money the manufacturers have invested” in the new bulbs (they will get every dime and a many times more from you and me with their 60 dollar bulbs). The main “fact” that Mr. Kessler failed to mention is that it is none of Washington’s business on what kind of light bulb I want to use! (Just as it is none of their business on how much water I can use to flush my damn Toilet!).

Now… before anyone gets the idea that I hate CFL’s and LED’s, nothing could be further from the truth – I like them for certain applications.  Small LED’s for landscaping are wonderful, and use much less electricity, and certainly if a bulb lasts longer, that is the one I would use in a tall chandelier or other hard to reach light application.  My beef is being forced by a bloated, over-intrusive government about what kind of light I can use.  I will use whatever light I want to use.

I always feel like... somebodies watching meeeeee...

But it is your right to hide your private life. Your life belongs to you, not to them, and you should not only know what they know, but more importantly, how to thwart their efforts.

And lets be honest, doesn’t it feel good to thwart the efforts of those who think to manipulate you? I know it does me!

So we will explore methods, ideas, gadgets, software and hardware to detect when you are being spied on, to disable or otherwise incapacitate those spys, and to reclaim your freedom and privacy. We will also explore techniques to harden your own security, and defend your privacy from any threat.

Obviously I am not interested in helping true criminals, that is, those who blatantly break the law as proscribed in the US Constitution, Bill of Rights, and State Constitutions. I do not consider the millions of superfluous laws, restrictions, and idiotic rules imposed by shark lawyers, politicians, and downright evil vermin to be actual laws, unless they are in accord with the Constitution which many, if not most are not. In fact I directly state that those superfluous”laws so called” are not laws at all, but in many cases are criminal acts themselves. Case in point, the TSA.

Or lets look at another example: Spy drones. Law enforcement use spy drones for many legitimate purposes such as bomb defusement, terrorist and hostage situations, etc. But when some over zealous politically motivated person in law enforcement decides he is going to spy on citizens because he can, then it is your right (if he is spying on you) to defend yourself against this action. Nobody has the right to spy on law abiding citizens. The fact that “they” (Governments, Neighbors, Advertisers, Hackers, Thieves, etc) do so anyway means that you have to have the ability to protect yourself.

Ok, now if any of you know what the “CB Superbowl” is, you know that the FCC laws above are a load of crap. CB Superbowl are individuals who build monstrous CB base and mobile stations, sometimes with tens of thousands of watts output just to see who can jam the other “superbowlers” – it is a crazy radio version of pro wrestling. The FCC rarely monitors CB radios anymore, and this stuff has been going on, almost unimpeded for years.

Still, if you decide to build this device, you are on your own! Rant over.

This is just the first in a series of RF Jamming and Drone spotting techniques that will be reveled here for you to use.

The Wave Bubble self-tuning portable RF jammer:

The Wave Bubble is a jammer that basically samples the RF frequencies around it, then transmits noise on those same frequencies, effectively self tuning and jamming anything you want without first having to know what frequency it is operating on. It is a wide bandwidth and self-tuning portable RF jammer.

For easy camouflaging, the RF jammer is made to be small and lightweight as with the size of a pack of cigarettes. The internal battery used is rechargeable through a mini USB connector or 4mm DC jack and is made from lithium ion that provides up to 2 hours of jamming of two bands. For a single band jamming such as GPS, Wi-Fi, cordless phone, Bluetooth, the battery can last up to 4 hours. Three AAA batteries may also be used as an alternative.

For high bands, the output power is 0.1W while for low bands is 0.3W. Using well-tuned antennas can reach an effective range around 20 feet radius. The range could be less with poorly matched antennas or internal antennas.

That means you will need to amplify this significantly to make it into a real jammer! I will post a variety of RF Linear amplifier circuits later on.

The jammer does not require a spectrum analyzer since the self-tuning is provided via dual PLL and a single wave bubble can jam several frequency bands. The reconfiguration of RF bands can be done by plugging the device to the USB port of a PC and typing the new frequency.

In our next post, I will give you block diagrams, schematics, parts, mods, linear amplifiers, etc. to make your jammer the real deal.

Spy On Your House Even when you are not there!

Electric cars are all the rage nowadays, but there is a big glaring question…

Who wants one?

Barack Obama said he would buy a Chevy Volt when his term as president ends this November. I highly doubt that however, for the same reason that most of the Volts that have been built remain unsold:

They kinda suck.

Basically the Chevy Volt is a hybrid. The difference being that you can turn the gas off completely and the drive-train is fully electric (even in gas mode). Usually in most other hybrids (a technology that has been out for over a decade, mind you) you do not have control of this because the on-board computer (that is much better at calculating the most efficient use of the gas/electric mix) does the controlling.

So they don’t totally suck, but then they really cant be called an “electric car” either – they are a fully electric drive-train hybrid vehicle. Nothing wrong with that except that people are not buying them. The fact is, taking true cost of energy plus the cost to buy the car, they are not that great of a deal.

Look, I have a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. It gets 40+ miles to the gallon highway, 33+ in the city. It has an 11 gallon tank. I can go 400+ miles in that thing, non-stop. When my tank is empty, I can spend 10 minutes and have another full tank and go another 400+ miles.

The volt, by comparison can also go 400+ miles if you switch over to the gas generator after using up the 35 – 40 miles of pure electric. But why pay for all that extra complexity and future maintenance nightmares for the same performance as a pure gas car like the Hyundai? Or Honda Civic, or Ford Focus, or… you get the picture. And 50 and 60 mile per gallon cars are just on the horizon (experimental cars that get even more have been built).

When I can do in an electric car what I can do in a pure gas car, that is, go 400+ miles in one charge, and, most importantly, charge it up in under 20 minutes, then electric cars will be viable.

The closest thing to that ideal is the Tesla Roadster. 250+ miles between charges, 3.5 hours to recharge. But at $110K, that is one expensive electric! (But man, it looks awesome!).

Let’s face it, electric cars can be useful in some instances, and hybrids are competing with pure gas cars, but they will never take over until they can match, and then beat the performance nd simplicity of today’s standard pure gas cars.

In sonoluminescence, pulses of light are emitted by bubbles that are forced to expand and collapse by sound waves. Physicists have long speculated that the considerable compression forces inside the bubbles when they collapse could be large enough to spark nuclear reactions. If this was achieved, it could lead to an endless source of ‘clean’ energy. Taleyarkhan and co-workers at Oak Ridge, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Russian Academy of Sciences claim to have seen the tell-tale decay signals of tritium – a radioactive isotope of hydrogen – in bubbles formed in acetone in which the ordinary hydrogen atoms have been replaced by deuterium atoms (C3D6O). In the experiments the bubbles are created by energetic neutrons, and the acetone vapour in the bubbles is forced to expand and then collapse by an acoustic signal.
The researchers also report evidence of another fusion reaction between two deuterium atoms. They say that the bubbles emitted neutrons with energies of 2.45 MeV, the energy that neutrons are emitted with when deuterium atoms fuse to create helium-3. Taleyarkhan and colleagues went on to calculate that temperatures of a million or even ten million degrees – the temperature at the Sun’s core – must exist inside the bubbles for these reactions to proceed.

Ten Million Degrees! And you can do it with a spherical jar, 2 piezo transducers, and an audio amplifier such as that old radio shack stereo system sitting in your attic. You too can achieve temperatures greater than that of the sun in your house! Now that is some science.
