One of the Best and Fastest Weight Loss Programs

One look at Jillian Michaels and it is pretty hard to imagine her as being fat, but when she was only thirteen she weighed in at 175 pounds (See Exclusive Photo!)

“I was 175 pounds, which is about 55 pounds heavier than I am now,” she said recently during a telephone interview. “I got into martial arts. I was 13 years old and found a martial arts instructor who was a huge catalyst for change. He educated me and provided a supportive and challenging environment. I changed my life, not just physically, but psychologically as well. It’s where I get my passion for doing this type of work for other people.”

That being said one only has to watch the biggest looser to see that Jillian has developed a very successful set of programs that quickly get the fat off, and if followed, keep it off and keep you in great shape.  I can personally attest to the effectiveness of this program as my wife has used it with great success.

It’s not only a program to loose weight, but to tone and shape your bod, and give you much more energy.  You will feel and look years younger, if you follow through with the program.

The fact is, and it has been said so much now that it is cliche’, you need to make a total lifestyle change for this program to be fully effective.  That means changing the way you eat as well as performing the various exercises.  Jillian  goes through all of this in the “The Big Looser Program”.

What it does:

This product encompasses an entire suite of products and services – from the membership site complete with weekly updates and Jillian’s personal Blog, to the various products she offers such as her exercise videos and her Wii game that you can use while you exercise. Other products include Protein shakes and various supplements that will help boost your metabolism and build muscle. These all work together synergistically to create a total program, however you can start small and build up and still have great success with this program. Flexibility is what it is all about.

What Do We Think Here at HTFS?:

We know it works as we have used the program effectively! Not only that, but this is the same program used by the Biggest Loose TV show! You see it working on that show as all of the contestants loose enormous amounts of weight. That alone should convince you that this product amongst all of the weight loss programs out there, is definitely one of the best.

“It’s a love/hate relationship with Jillian Michaels workout tape! I had worked at Curves for women for over a year as a fitness technician. During my time working many women would say that they are not losing the “belly fat” and other hard to tone areas. Curves is great at “maintaining” but if you need to lose the fat…you have to get that body moving which is exactly what Jillian does…pure cardio! This gets your heart rate up (and it stays up!) which will increase your metabolism, which in turn burns the fat! Not only is it important to keep the body moving (and believe me you will be out of breath…..if you’re not, you are not working hard enough!) but the cardio in this video alternates between working your upper body and then your lower body. This is “muscle confusion”….your body doesn’t have time to get used to doing an exercise before you are onto another one! Your blood has to flow from your upper to your lower body…depending on which muscles you are using. This increases your fat burning potential. I have the same issues as many women do….those areas that seem impossible to lose fat! I wanted to work on losing the belly fat, toning my abs, and alleviating the extra rolls on the backs of my thighs (cellulite), and last but not least…age has taken a toll on my bottom as it started to get longer rather than rounder!!!

As I had stopped working at Curves, I decided to try her workout to see if the “muscle confusion” really did work. I was skeptical at first as I had done Zumba and Tae Bo in the past. I had started her “Banish fat, Boost Metabolism” workout 2 months ago and like I said, I both love it and hate it, but I’m still doing it. The love part is due to the fact that my butt is starting to firm/round up and I have had a considerable amount of belly fat burned away! The hate….well, it’s my own battle of wills to get my body moving! But, once I get going….I look at my body and see the results which give me the boost to get out and just do it! When I started, I did have a hard time keeping up which is ok. After about 3 weeks of doing it consistently I was able to keep up to my surprise. That means I am getting stronger too!     Jillian Michaels - her 30 Day Shred

    This is a really good workout. It’s geared a little more to advanced exercisers, but the choreography is fairly basic and you will definately feel this the next day.
    She may not be the best cuer, but she is certainly encouraging and motivating. This is fun and I highly recommend it. I’ve only done it twice so far since it’s so new, but I can still feel my muscles thanking me. This is great.

    I had never purchased a Jillian Michaels DVD before b/c of the hit or miss reviews. So when I heard raves about this one, I decided to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. This is an absolute butt-kicker workout. I am an intermediate/advanced exerciser (I work out 5-6 days a week) so I figured I could see what Level 1 was all about and move onto Level 2 right away.

    Jillian is tough–absolutely NO rest in this workout (not even for a sip of water) but that’s what makes it go by so quickly, and it makes your body change, according to Jillian. You’re done before you know it–but by the end you’ve gotten a kick butt workout and feel like you’ve really done something.

    This is a great workout and I find Jillian to be tough but she’s pretty likeable. Be warned though: she’s no-nonsense. I think it’s funny when during the stretch she admits she’s not flexible and struggles to reach her legs on the floor. I thought “Ha, Ha, finally something I’m better at than Jillian!” lol

    If you really want to get a good workout and to jumpstart your weight loss get this DVD you will not be disappointed. It’s great for those who are short on time too and want to try something new; every workout is just under 30 mins!

    Ok, if you’re like me (overweight and unmotivated) and watch The Biggest Loser and wish you could be one of the contestants and have Jillian train you then you’re in luck! Buy this DVD! I just received the dvd today and did the First Level today. It’s been 2 and 1/2 hours since I finished and I’m still shaking and finding it hard to go up and down stairs. I can’t even imagine what she puts those poor contestants through..LOL!

    I have knee pains and feet pains and usually just walk at 3mph on my treadmill. Well, suffice to say I’m not seeing any weight loss. And let me be honest the real reason I have knee and feet problems is because I weigh too much. So I did the full on jumping jacks..no modified jumping jacks in this workout…Jillian tells you straight, she has 400lb people doing full jumping jacks, you can too! And she was right. I sure as heck can’t really do the push ups but I’m sure that I will be able to eventually if I keep doing this dvd everyday for 20 minutes.

    And she’s right, you can’t do a workout for 20 minutes and expect it to be easy…you want easy, don’t get this dvd. You want to sweat and really workout get this dvd!
